I've never had much luck with UPS and accurate delivery or following instructions. I've had to go to the distribution warehouse on more than one occasion to pick up something because of their incompetence.
Our mailman checks off the "not home" box on all packages before setting out for his day. I've opened the door to find him leaving the package on the porch without even checking to see if we're home. He only works once a week, as well, and never on Fridays. We have a curious lack of mail four out of five days every week and then a huge pile on one day. We know when he is taking a week off because a woman delivers us mail every day for that week.
So, I think it is a general laziness among everyone these days. The longer we spend actually doing our jobs, the less time we have to play with stupid apps on our phones.
