Because My Hair Still Has To Look Its Shiniest

Well, I did it again. Those stupid Head and Shoulders conditioner bottles look so much like the shampoo bottles. Oh well, another month of soft, healthy hair for me. Maybe it's subconscious that I actually really want conditioner.

Roundabouts For Everyone!

I just got word from my Mom that the City of Sarnia and County of Lambton have approved Lambton County's very first roundabout at the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Mandaumin Road. I'm quite impressed with the local government there for recognizing that a roundabout is by far the best solution there. What's even better is that I'll get to use it quite often as it's right near my parent's house in Brights Grove.

It's too bad Middlesex county couldn't have been so smart when they put in a ridiculous signal at Nairn Rd (17) and Petty St (19) just south of Ailsa Craig... I always get stopped there now, and there's rarely anyone else around. It just wastes my time and my gas.

New Blog To Check Out

Well, it looks like someone else has gotten onto the whole blogging thing. Go to purdygirl.wordpress.com to check out Megan's new blog. It's got a very insightful post about the upcoming election and the level of apathy in our country.

I hope you keep up the blogging, not like some others I know of (yeah, I'm looking at you Joel, Faith, Amanda, Matt, Pat, and to a lesser extent, Marty)

Iron Horse Trail, Where Have You Been All My Life?

It's a nice day here, so I decided to take my new bike out for a spin, and instead of my usual ride up through Waterloo Park and UW, I decided to head south and finally check out the Iron Horse Trail. Now, I've always known it was there, but I never attempted to discover where exactly it starts (that and I've only had my bike for a few months now). But I found it and was very impressed by the trail. I made it all the way down to the other end of the trail (which is at Ottawa Street in Kitchener) in 25 minutes. It's an old train route between the two cities and it's quite interesting in parts as they've left some of the old train track equipment there. I think I've found a new favourite bike route. Now I should do it in conjunction with the path through Waterloo Park and UW, as it's all part of the Trans Canada Trail.

Election Time Looms!

Well, it seems we're going to have an election next month. While I don't really see a need for one at the present time and think the results will be very similar to the last election, the election/polls/stats junkie in me is super excited!

I love elections!

Did you hear the news that the Green Party got it's first official MP last week? It was some independent from Vancouver who was booted from the Liberal Party deciding to join with the Greens. Personally, I'm kind of disappointed for the Greens. I think this party hopper will take the impact away from the Party when they legitimately get their first elected MP (which will happen eventually, whether or not it's this election).

I Unbought A House

So, after the inspection on Tuesday and having a real long second look at the place, I decided to withdraw my offer on that house I said I bought last week.

The search continues...

The New Hockey Night In Canada Theme Song

That's my brother's kick at the HNIC song contest. Go to the song's page to give it a high rating and nice comment to give it a better chance of becoming a finalist.
